Kiwa Studio is a woman-owned, luxury botanical skincare brand based in Detroit, crafting sustainable, organic, and nontoxic products that heal and nourish the skin. For the launch of their Healing Face + Body Oil, we created "Borrowed Time," a short film and photo series built around a single idea: nothing is truly ours. Not our time, not our bodies, not sunlight, not even the sound of laughter. It's all borrowed, and that's why we take care of it, the same way Kiwa Studio's body oil takes care of the skin. Kiwa Studio wanted something that made people feel, not just watch, so we led creative direction, story writing, video production, and photography to bring it to life.
